About Trio Design
Our team of licensed architects and design professionals provide customized design services, creation of construction documents, and construction administration thru project completion.
We excel at client focused service from project inception to completion. Our process and attention to each curated client experience starts with creative design expertise, provides a knowledgeable team that implements code and safety requirements into thoughtful design solutions, assists with the permitting processes, and navigates through the inevitable ‘bumps’ during the construction process.
We are on a mission as designers and architects to create, renovate and sustain; a trio of ideologies that embrace the freedom of creativity in design, the preservation existing buildings, driven to sustain the natural environment through conscious building practices.
Trio lives and breathes these practices from
the day to day operations of our business, to the process of design and practice of architecture, and in the way in which we connect with the community to share these principles.

Brittany formed Trio Design as a woman owned business in 2014. The firm’s roots began with the years of experience of Robert L. Marshall Architect & Assoc., which then combined with a drive and responsibility to create a meaningful connection between the built and natural environments. She attended the University of Utah and in 2009 earned a Masters of Architecture from the University of Utah. She grew up in Utah and result has a close connection to our unique landscape and environment, and believes that in design we must respect the environment as a finite resource. Trio Design strives to do just that, through unique responsive design, the renovation of existing buildings, and sustainable building technologies.

Valerie was born and raised in Pheonix, Arizona and attended Salt Lake Community College, where she received her Associate's Degree in Interior Design.
She is a talented architectural drafter with strong 3D rendering skills, allowing our clients to more accurately "try on" their space before it's built.
When she isn't in the office, Valerie spends most of her time teaching group fitness classes or completing DIY home projects with her husband and two kids.
Julianne has a creative mind and a natural sense for aesthetic design. After years of experience drawing and painting, she is now pursuing her true passion with a degree in Interior Design at Salt Lake Community College.
When Julianne isn't at work or studying, she enjoys all things outdoors: hiking with her dog, practicing & teaching yoga, participating in any kind of water activity, and rock climbing.
At home, her time is spent cooking, reading, collecting plants, playing chess, or creating jewelry from scratch (yes, she's also a silversmith!)
We are excited to have Julianne on our team, as her keen eye for detail will serve as an excellent resource to our clients!
